Day 9 - Ayuthaya -> Lopburi

Got packed early and jumped the bus to Lopburi! The bus took two hours and had no air con :-( probably wont be the worst bus we get! But it was the funkiest bus ave ever been on and when it got goin it werent too bad. We were with the locals and not on a tourist bus which we were happy about we went through loads of villages and felt like like this was what we came for. The bus stopped at the bottom of our street and was a short walk to our new digs called "Nett Hotel". It was cheap and had air con with a fan. Walked down 'Th Ratchadamnoen' road to Prang Sam Yot the three broken buildings made famous to me when Karl Pilkington went there and was surrounded by Macaques! They were everywhere on peoples roofs, a builders van, shops and power lines. I think you only went in the Wat if you had a stick to swing around and we didnt so we left it.  We had some dinner in a little noodle bar then got the train times to Chiang Mai where we would stay for maybe a week. Were getting the night train in two days so were having another night here tomorrow. G'nite!
